Open QMBP

New perspectives in the out-of-equilibrium dynamics of open many-body quantum systems

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Open QMBP program at Institut Pascal! Taking place from June 12 to June 16, 2023, this program aims to bring together leading scientists from various disciplines who share a common interest in investigating the out-of-equilibrium physics of open many-body quantum systems.

The program's first week will feature an array of engaging activities, including thought-provoking pedagogical lectures delivered by distinguished experts in the field. These lectures will provide valuable insights into the emerging concepts, theoretical frameworks, and experimental realizations relevant to open many-body quantum systems. Additionally, on Tuesday a stimulating one-day conference has offered participants a platform to present their own research, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations.

In addition to the scientific program,  a variety of engaging social events designed to foster lively discussions among participants have been organised. These events provide an informal setting for scientists to connect, exchange ideas, and build valuable collaborations.
