Workshop Update – Week A (Participatory Budgeting)

The workshop at the Institut Pascal (Orsay, France) is off to a great start and the first week is running very smoothly.

Week A is dedicated to participatory budgeting, bringing together participants and leading experts for an intensive and collaborative program. The week began with a general introduction to the workshop, followed by presentations on the GDR RADIA and several inspiring invited talks.

Participants have also been actively involved through short presentations and poster sessions, creating a dynamic and engaging scientific environment.

The core of the week is structured around a series of working sessions: after an introductory tutorial and a collective discussion to identify key research questions, participants formed subgroups to explore specific topics. These groups are now deeply engaged in collaborative work, exchanging ideas and developing new research directions.

The atmosphere is both productive and friendly, with social events and informal discussions further strengthening interactions within the group.

Overall, this first week is proving to be highly successful, with strong participation, fruitful exchanges, and promising research outcomes already emerging.
