The first week of the thematic program Digital Twin for the Ecological Transition of Territories (JUMP 2025), held at Institut Pascal from December 1st to 5th, 2025, concluded successfully.

Participants showed strong engagement and enthusiasm, leading to stimulating discussions and valuable insights on how digital twins can support the ecological transition and planning of territories.

Through a series of lectures, demonstrations, collaborative workshops, and roundtable discussions, the group established an overview of existing digital twin tools and identified the main challenges to their effective implementation in support of ecological transition strategies.

This collective work will continue during the second week of the program, scheduled for March 23rd–27th, 2026, which will focus on the co-construction of the framework and specifications for a Territorial Digital Twin dedicated to the Paris-Saclay Urban Community. This upcoming session will aim to develop prospective scenarios and explore pathways toward a fair, sustainable, and locally relevant ecological transition.
