Speakable and Unspeakable in Quantum Gravity
Over 50 participants from around the world gathered at Institut Pascal this month to ponder the mysteries of quantum gravity.
Their starting point? The seemingly innocuous idea that any universe with gravity should obey certain well-established physical principles, such as the fact that probabilities always add up to one. Recent years have seen rapid progress in this field, and the main goal of the workshop was to consolidate existing threads, generate new approaches, and chart a vision for the future.
The workshop featured a relaxed schedule of seminars alongside weekly moderated discussions. This format allowed ample time for in-depth conversations and numerous opportunities for new collaborations to form among the participants from diverse backgrounds.
We eagerly anticipate the original ideas and breakthroughs that will emerge from this workshop!
