This program focuses on the physics of open heavy flavour and quarkonium production in the hot and dense QCD medium created in heavy-ion collisions, as well as in vacuum.

HF2022: Heavy Flavours from small to large systems

This program focuses on the physics of open heavy flavour and quarkonium production in the hot and dense QCD medium created in heavy-ion collisions, as well as in vacuum. The scope is to foster discussions among theorists and experimentalists, towards unifying the description of the open and hidden heavy-flavour sectors. Details on the scientific program can be found in the program tab.

This is a three-week program. The first two weeks will consist of selected talks by keynote speakers with ample time for discussions. One or two topics per day will be addressed (max. of 2 oral presentations per day, allowing time for discussions). The third week, a workshop will be organised to summarize the discussions and link them with other related topics.
